Keynote speaker Beth Mancini

Monday 1st August, 2011

Dr. Beth Mancini is Professor, Associate Dean and Chair for Undergraduate Nursing Programs at The University of Texas at Arlington College of Nursing. She holds the Baylor Health Care System Professorship for Healthcare Research.

She is currently President-Elect for the international society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH).

Prior to moving to an academic role in 2004, Dr. Mancini was Senior Vice President for Nursing Administration and Chief Nursing Officer at Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, Texas, a position she held for 18 years.

Dr. Mancini will speak in the first plenary on Tuesday, and will contribute throughout SimHealth.
