About SimHealth
The SimHealth Conference started as a stand-alone meeting at SimTecT 2005, held in Brisbane. Since then, the conference has rapidly grown.

Continuing Professional Development Points
Royal College of Nursing, Australia
SimHealth 2011 and SimHealth 2012 have been endorsed by Royal College of Nursing, Australia, according to approved criteria. Attendance attracts 28 RCNA Continuing Nurse Education (CNE) points as part of RCNA's Life Long Learning Program (3LP) as follows:
- Monday: 7 CNE points
- Tuesday: 6 CNE points
- Wednesday: 7.5 CNE points
- Thursday: 7.5 CNE points
Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists
Within the ANZCA CPD Program, SimHealth 2011, can be claimed under the following categories:
- Lectures: Category 1 Level: 1 Credit per hour
- Small Group Discussions & workshop/seminars with no hands on: Category 1/Level 2: 2 credits per hour
- Workshops with practical hands on: Category 3/level 2: 3 credits per hour
